In this novel we have a pair of twin brothers, one is shunned and one stays behind. Twelve years later the one who stayed behind takes his son and ventures out into the real world. It is a transition that is difficult in many ways for the two brothers and their sons. But it also is humorous, eye-opening, and always entertaining.
